About
My story.
I was born in Mount Clemens and grew up in St. Clair Shores, Michigan — Violet Elementary, Kennedy Middle School, then Lake Shore High School. Right after graduation I did a full semester at Macomb Community College’s South Campus in Warren. Then, at 18, I joined the Michigan Army National Guard.
I served as a military policeman with the 1775th Military Police Company out of Pontiac — basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, then MP school. Over my years in the Guard I trained with NATO and deployed to Lithuania and Latvia, did emergency deployment training in the U.S. Virgin Islands, traveled to Rwanda to help train their military, worked as a cable installer, and my unit was sent to Washington, DC to help protect the Capitol. I hung up the uniform in May 2022. My awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Army Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, Certificate of Achievement, Michigan Outside United States Training Ribbon, Michigan State Partnership Ribbon, Michigan Service Medal, Wisconsin National Guard Emergency Service Ribbon, Army Achievement Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, and Washington D.C. National Guard Emergency Service Ribbon.
While I was serving, I was also building my civilian career. I’m an account executive at Dynamic Media Music, where I sell licensed music services, audio systems, and messaging to businesses. Before that, I sold cars at a small dealership — which is where I learned how to talk to anybody about anything.
Today I live in Troy, Michigan, where I run Vellops, my AI chatbot agency, and FiledPermit, which sends contractors daily building-permit alerts — alongside a Michigan controls job board and a crypto-payments service for local businesses.
Off duty, I’m easygoing — fun, relaxed, professional. I follow current events, I’m always up for making a new friend, and I’m just trying to be a happy guy and the best person I can be.
